copper to aluminum transition plates

Copper to aluminum transition plates used in the electrical industry are commonly used to weld copper and aluminum plates into a whole by flash butt welding or friction welding. The following disadvantages exist in this process: 1. the manufacturing process is complex. 2. poor performance. Because flash butt welding or friction welding of copper aluminum will produce some brittle compounds in the joint, which will reduce the bending performance of the joint, the fracture of the copper aluminum joint often occurs when it is used, which leads to accidents. 3. copper consumption is large.

In order to improve welding process, eliminate brittle fracture, improve strength and reduce contact resistance, Chalco aluminum adopts explosive welding method to produce copper aluminum transition plate. After explosion composite, the composite plate is annealed, rolled and leveled, then milled and drilled to produce the required specifications.

Chalco aluminum has tested the performance of copper to aluminum transition plates, which are composite standards, such as separation strength, shear strength and bending resistance. It has been sold to the domestic and foreign countries, and has been widely used in the electrical industry.
